Five minutes of prep prevents delivery-day headaches. Here's the exact checklist our coordinators recommend.

Preparing your vehicle properly protects you at delivery and keeps pickup on schedule. Follow these steps.

  1. Wash the car so existing scratches are easy to see and document.
  2. Take dated photos of all sides and any existing damage.
  3. Remove personal items — carriers aren't licensed to haul household goods.
  4. Leave about a quarter tank of gas — enough to load/unload, not extra weight.
  5. Disable toll tags and alarms.
  6. Note any leaks or mechanical issues and tell your coordinator.
  7. Fold in mirrors, retract antennas, and remove loose accessories.
  8. Check tire pressure and battery charge.
  9. Remove or secure custom/aftermarket parts (spoilers, racks).
  10. Keep a set of keys ready for the driver.

At pickup and delivery, you and the driver complete a Bill of Lading inspection — your photos are your backup. Ready to book? Get your quote.
